Monday

Lovely old 'Australian Ceramic Co.' bowl with lid, found for $2.99.  Not really sure why I bought this - but I do know that I admire it now.

Friday

UGH!  Where have I been all this time?

Life had steered me another direction for a short while and I didn't have a chance to sit down for a minute and share my finds, let alone the chance to do many other things.   Sorry if you've missed me!

But here I am again so do not fret for a second.  :)

Free light and sheer dress.  This is actually quite gorgeous but unfortunately the neck line is way too low for me and that's why I'm trying to hide too much skin.  And I'm guessing it would look way more stunning on somebody more svelter than me!

Saturday

I had been coveting the strawberries and cream decanters on ebay these past few months, then suddenly I find two at the op shop!   How cute are these?

1969 Avon strawberries and cream decanters made of glass with hard plastic stoppers  and once held bath foam, found for $2.50 each.

Tuesday

We all know today is, right?  Here's a hint --->

I may not know you, you handsome beast.... but Happy St Val's day anyway.  ;)

A few months ago I decided that I needed some extra storage in my work room.
So I browsed a well known online mag and found this for free!

It's the Aneboda Wardrobe you can find at Ikea, or at least used to be able to.

It only had the clothes hanging apparatus and one top shelve inside but I really needed more in there.  So I put my newly acquired woodworking skills to the test and made my own chipboard shelving for the bottom of the wardrobe - 2 shelves to be exact.  Clever me!

Friday

I was amazed to find these cones of sewing thread for 50 cents each, and they are quite large.  I'm guessing I won't run out for a very long time!

This 1968 book called ' Knitting Pattern Drafting by Charts for Knitting Machines and Hand Knitting ' set me back $1.  Full of vintage information and even more vintage style!

A  yummy ball of mohair for 50 cents.

And $1 each for these...

Sunday

I'm terribly happy to report that I've finished the oil painting frame.  Apart from the gold oil based paint which set me back about $8 from Bunnings, the whole thing cost me;

Oil painting (found on somebody's junk pile) - $0.
Wooden frame (found on somebody's junk pile) - $0
Wood coloured varnish (already had it from years ago) - $0
Wooden molding (already had it from years ago) - $0
Wood, nails, framing accessories for the back (already had them) - $0
Total - $0!
