Too many bunnies in our house!!  Not only do we have a real one that follows me around like a little puppy dog just about wherever I go, but I NEED to collect fake ones as well.

This kitschy and cute set of ceramic rabbits was a real find.  They look vintage to me, so I love them even more for that.  Not a crack, not a chip found on any of them.  

I scored the bigger ones for $1 each and the smaller one for 50 cents.  They look so yummy and edible like chocolate, right?

 

And how precious is this bunny egg cup, I ask you?  Scored it for $1.

 

Now, I can't remember what I paid for this one, but I'm sure it wasn't more than $1.50 because that's my spending limit when it comes to 'most' egg cups.

A very special plate

What started my fascination with plates?  I can answer that quite easily and quickly.  It was well over 5 years ago when my father and I were at a shopping center, walking along and browsing before we got to our destination.  We spotted the shop named 'Thingz' and stopped to have a look at what they had for sale on the outside of the store.  

My eyes went straight to a gorgeous bunch of plates.  I commented on how pretty the plates were, so he quickly bought me one.  Now, that action in itself is special, isn't it?  This plate has such HUGE sentimental value to me, I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I (or anybody else!) ever accidentally broke it.  Yes, it's THAT special to me.

This little soap dish is just adorable, at only $1;

Two towel hooks, both for $4 and bought because of the old time shabbiness look to them, which I simply love.  I later found out that they are part of a bathroom accessories set, by the pottery makers 'Wagner & Ryder Australian Pottery'... and somewhat vintage in age;

And these cute little pots right here, I love them to bits, $4 for both;

I love collecting bunny ornaments and egg cups, as some of you already know!

My latest finds are firstly this adorable ceramic white rabbit for only $1. 

And a lovely white rabbit egg cup, also for $1.

Bell for just 50 cents. I adore the floral pattern and colouring...

I love my $6 Avon Geese and for me, they were worth every penny.  Salt and Pepper shakers from the 1980's and possibly collectible.  Truth is I don't buy anything if I truly don't like the look of it and wouldn't give two hoots if it was collectible or not.  For me, I have to love it and when it's mine - it instantly becomes priceless.

I thought it fitting and appropriate to blog about my egg and egg related collection today.

Three ceramic (hollow) eggs.  These are only 3 inches tall.

 I was heartbroken when I found this one was ruined when I got home.  Can you see where?

They were a buck each.

This sweet little ceramic egg is about 6 inches tall.  I paid $7 for it but it was one of those 'must haves'.

 Ceramic egg cups.  I have others, but I'll share them with you another day.  The larger bunny cup was $2 and the smaller was 50 cents.

Ceramic bunnys for 75 cents each.  I love these little guys.  The tallest is about 2 inches tall.

And I may as well toss this in.... a manual egg beater.  How exciting that I should find one for $1.99!
