Too many bunnies in our house!!  Not only do we have a real one that follows me around like a little puppy dog just about wherever I go, but I NEED to collect fake ones as well.

This kitschy and cute set of ceramic rabbits was a real find.  They look vintage to me, so I love them even more for that.  Not a crack, not a chip found on any of them.  

I scored the bigger ones for $1 each and the smaller one for 50 cents.  They look so yummy and edible like chocolate, right?

 

And how precious is this bunny egg cup, I ask you?  Scored it for $1.

 

Now, I can't remember what I paid for this one, but I'm sure it wasn't more than $1.50 because that's my spending limit when it comes to 'most' egg cups.

I paid 50 cents for this vintage salt and pepper shaker set and after I removed the thick dust at home, I found one had a chip at the top (right next to the 'S' in the second photo).  Oh well - can't win them all!

Yesterday, I thought it was today.  So I had made particular plans, but now I'll have to change them.  Darn it!  This morning hubby told me that our cat was playing with a gecko last night under the bed.  Oh that's just great, I replied... now I will have to forever keep checking the floor for monsters!   Ever had one of those days? 

2 egg cups found for 50 cents each.  I noticed the flower patterns were a little different to each other after I got them home, but who cares really?

I found two Peter Rabbit egg cups, both at different times / op shops, and both for $1.  Notice the differences?  But of course I love them both just the way they are.  :) 

Now, I don't know much about copy right and trade marks etc. and I AM a little confused.  One of the egg cups is the real deal (Frederick Warne & Co.) and one is a fake (Made in China).  But both have 'tm' written after the name.  If an image/character is clearly copy right, then how can there be a fake and how do they get away with making and selling it?  Just curious is all, as they say in the U.S.  ;)

The only thing I can see that would make it different enough is the colour change.  Is that really enough though to rip somebody else's original idea?  

Well you may not find it so interesting, but obviously I do!

Oh, the prettiness of it all.....

Little bits and bobs, eye candy, knick knacks, curios and so on.  Whatever you call them, they can have such a hold on you can't they?  But we only live once so we may as well enjoy what we buy and have.

Adorable dove clock found for $8, but I managed to sweet talk the shop assistant into giving it to me for just $5.  It stands at 8 inches and shock, horror - it works just fine.

Sweet little ceramic rose for 70 cents.  You can't beat that price for something as pretty as this.  Although white can terribly difficult to photograph.

Tasmanian egg cup for 50 cents, but made in Japan.  :/

Only bought this because the husbeast is one (Tasmanian, not Japanese).

Egg cups.  Can't get enough of them.  

I didn't set out to buy anything like this though but there it was, a wooden egg cup set of five glaring at me for $4.99.

After some research, I found out that the artist 'Orna Shachar' is still happily painting away here in Perth.  Check out her work HERE .

How lovely is this bowl and saucer set?  It set me back a whole $2.99;

And how adorable is this teapot?  Also adorable was the price, at only $4;
